Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, can work independently, and is committed to execution and craftsmanship. You will perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems in accordance with the MRC and/or NEC.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions
- Ensure all work complies with MRC and/or NEC
- Lead and/or assist apprentices and support their development
- Complete work orders, job updates, and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license/certification
- 5+ years of field experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of MRC and/or NEC
- Proficient with electrical tools, testing equipment, and installation methods
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
